30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 8

Going into my second week of my 30 days of thankfulness, I'd like to begin with something kind of dorky. I am thankful for my Wednesday nights of Duck Dynasty.

Wednesdays are nicknamed "Hump Day" for a reason- they are that terrible hump of the week that Mondays lead up to and send you to Friday. They are that hump in the middle of the week that you just have to get over to make it through the week. My wednesdays usually consist of waking up at 7 to run (or going at 5pm if I accidentally slept in), going to class from 9-11, observing a classroom from 11-12, working from 12-3, and going to class from 4-5. Then, homework. So, needless to say, my hump days aren't the most fun.

Duck Dynasty is my sweet refuge- my comedic relief- to help me get through my weeks. I look forward to them from the moment the Wednesday night episode ends to when the episode of the next week airs. It's honestly one of the funniest shows I've ever watched in my life, and it makes me HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY! (You'd understand that if you watched the show! Haha! If not, watch this clip and you'll understand!)

I literally think I will cry when this season ends. Sure, I watch a couple of other good shows- New Girl and Grey's Anatomy, but nothing compares to Duck Dynasty. It's real, it's funny, it's redneck, it's just good, wholesome, hilarious television.

You can make fun of me all you want for having this be something I'm so thankful for, but I just love it! It makes me laugh and, I don't know, I just love it :) I am thankful that I get to share good laughs with Jordan every Wednesday night and share inside jokes about the show with him and a few friends who also watch it.

If you've never watched it, seriously, go here to watch full episodes or recap clips!

Here are a few of my favorite clips!

There are so many more I could put on here, but this will have to do for now!

Enjoy!
